DONATIONS & GIVING

Where your gift goes, and how to give it.

  • #5 Beats for Nicko is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit (EIN 41-4020377), so donations are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. You'll receive an emailed receipt for your records.

  • Gifts fund four programs directly: scholarships, youth sports camps, family support grants, and pediatric CHD research. We'll share an annual breakdown once we have a full year of data.

  • Yes — select "Become a Monthly Donor" on our Donate page to set up recurring giving through PayPal. You can change or cancel it anytime.

  • Yes. Note it in your donation, and we'll send a card to the family or friend of your choosing letting them know a gift was made in that person's name.

  • Many companies match employee gifts dollar-for-dollar. Check with your HR or benefits team — we're happy to provide any documentation they need.

CAMPS & PROGRAMS

Getting kids on the field, safely.

  • Our camps are open to all kids. Spots are limited, so we recommend registering as soon as dates are announced.

  • Fill out our short camp registration form, and a team member will follow up with details.

  • Yes — every camp includes on-site medical support, and activities are paced to accommodate a range of energy levels and needs.

SCHOLARSHIPS & GRANTS

Support beyond the camp field.

  • Scholarships are open to heart warriors pursuing college. Full eligibility criteria will be posted with our next application cycle.

  • Reach out through our contact form or email — a team member will walk your family through the request and approval process.

VOLUNTEERING & GETTING INVOLVED

  • Yes — we partner with local and national businesses for camps, events, and in-kind donations. Reach out to discuss sponsorship levels.

  • Absolutely. Birthday fundraisers, bake sales, and team events are all welcome — contact us and we'll help however we can.
